What should I do if I accidentally deposit crypto that OKX does not support?
If you accidentally deposit crypto that OKX does not support to your account, you cannot use or trade these assets in OKX. But, you can now withdraw the assets with the self-service feature, instead of asking for help from our customer support.
Here’s how to do it:
App
  1. Tap Assets – Funding. Untradable assets that you accidentally deposit are put under the Untradable assets tab in Funding.
  1. Tap the ellipsis (3 dots) icon of the crypto you want to withdraw. Then select Withdraw to go to the Untradable asset withdrawal page.
  1. Select or enter the Withdrawal network, address, and the amount you want to withdraw.
  1. Review withdrawal information and tap Submit to confirm the transaction.
    Note:
    • This feature is available to version 6.0.29 or above. Please upgrade your OKX app to the latest version.
    • The fee shown on the withdrawal page is paid to cryptocurrency miners. OKX does not charge fees on untradable asset transactions.

How to avoid depositing the untradable assets to OKX?
Currently, OKX supports over 300 cryptocurrencies. Still, there are some crypto that are not supported by OKX. If you are not sure whether the crypto you want to deposit is supported by OKX, you can check with our customer support via OKX Help or read this article: What are untradable assets?
Which untradable assets support self-service withdrawal?
Here are the untradable assets that support self-service withdrawal:
  1. Crypto that has been or will be delisted from OKX
  1. Airdrop crypto
  1. The listed crypto that OKX doesn't support, and crypto sent to networks that OKX doesn’t support. Check out to view a list of crypto that supports self-withdrawal.

Step 1: Log in to your OKX account
Before you can start buying or selling cryptocurrency on OKX, you must first log in to your OKX account. If you do not yet have an account, click Sign up and complete the registration process.
Step 2: Select Buy/Sell
Once you have logged in to your OKX account, click Buy Crypto in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to get started.
