How to deposit (On APP)

Deposit means to transfer crypto from wallets or accounts in other platforms to the account in OKX. Please follow the procedures if you need to deposit from other platforms to OKX.

 

1. Open OKX app and click Deposit.

 

2. Select the crypto to deposit. If it is not popular crypto, you can search the crypto in the Search Box atop.

 

3. Taking USDT as an example, select the deposit network. Save QR code or copy the address below it.

 

4. Open the withdrawal page of the corresponding platform, select USDT, and paste the USDT address copied from your OKX account in Step 3 (or scan the saved QR code). Please pay extra attention when selecting withdrawal network - keep consistent between the networks, i.e., if you select USDT-TRC20 as the USDT deposit network in your OKX account, you must also select BTC-TRC20 as the USDT withdrawal network in the corresponding platform. Then, type in the withdrawal amount, and click Withdraw.

 

 

Notes:

1. The delay of block confirmations might occur in deposits, which leads to the delayed deposit arrival. Please wait patiently.
2. Please keep consistent between the crypto’s deposit network and its withdrawal network in the corresponding platform, or it won't be credited to the account. For example, please don't deposit the crypto in TRC20 to the on-chain network or other networks such as ERC20.
3. Please check the crypto and address carefully when depositing. The deposit will not be credited to the account if incorrectly filled in. For example, please check if the crypto in the deposit platform is consistent with the one in the withdrawal platform, and do not deposit LTC to the BTC address.
4. The deposit of several cryptos needs to fill in tags (Memo/Tag). You need to fill the tag of the crypto correctly in the corresponding platform. If the tag is incorrectly filled in, the deposit will not be credited to the account.

A step-by-step guide to purchasing and selling crypto on OKX,

Step 1: Log in to your OKX account
Before you can start buying or selling cryptocurrency on OKX, you must first log in to your OKX account. If you do not yet have an account, click Sign up and complete the registration process.
Step 2: Select Buy/Sell
Once you have logged in to your OKX account, click Buy Crypto in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to get started.
Step 3: Select your purchasing method
The next step is to choose how you would like to buy or sell . There are two primary options on OKX: Express and P2P trade.

Finally, simply confirm your transaction details.
